My Letter...
Dear Pet Parent,
If you're reading this, chances are you're carrying a lot of questions.
Maybe you're moving across the country.
Maybe you're welcoming a new puppy.
Maybe you're facing military orders, an international move, or a life change you never expected.
Or maybe you're simply trying to figure out the safest way to get your best friend from one place to another.
Whatever brought you here, I want you to know something before we talk about airlines, paperwork, kennels, or transportation.
**You're in the right place.**
I understand what you're feeling because I've felt it too.
Long before I became a paramedic or founded Go Fetch, I was a little girl with a Toy Poodle named Puddin.
I was an only child for many years, and while my parents worked hard to provide for our family, Puddin made sure I was never alone. She wasn't just my dog. She was my protector, my playmate, my confidant, and my very first best friend.
Without knowing it, she taught me one of the most important lessons of my life:
Pets aren't part of our lives.
They're part of our hearts.
That lesson never left me.
Years later, I became a paramedic. For sixteen years, I had the privilege of caring for people during some of the most frightening moments of their lives.
People often think emergency medicine is only about medical skills.
It isn't.
It's about walking into someone else's fear and becoming the calmest person in the room.
I learned that knowledge isn't meant to impress people.
It's meant to comfort them.
I learned that the best care doesn't just treat the problem in front of you. It helps people believe they're going to make it through.
Today, I carry those same lessons into every conversation I have with pet parents.
Because while the circumstances are different, the emotions are often the same.
You're worried about making the wrong decision.
You're afraid of overlooking something important.
You want to protect someone you love who can't speak for themselves.
I understand.
That's why I believe **preparation is an act of love.**
Preparation isn't just paperwork.
It's not a checklist.
It's not something you do because someone tells you to.
It's every question you ask.
Every document you gather.
Every kennel you introduce before travel.
Every plan you make to give your pet the safest, least stressful journey possible.

That's why I created Go Fetch.
